Since 1978 the RAIN MAN has been serving Edmonton and area. In 2000, after testing the waters in Calgary, and completing several successful projects the RAIN MAN became a recognized irrigation contractor in Southern Alberta.
The RAIN MAN that was incorporated in 1978 is still under original ownership and management. We have completed projects all over Alberta, in all kinds of terrain, from Yellowknife to Banff to Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump.
Projects include:
- Commercial sites (Shopping Centers, Hospitals and Schools)
- Large warehousing projects (Canadian Tire Distribution Center-Calgary)
- Sports fields (rugby, baseball, soccer, football, etc.)
- City parks (from Fort McMurray to Calgary)
- Landscape lighting
We also specialize in unique jobs such as water parks, fountains, brooks, pumping systems and golf courses.
RAIN MAN Irrigation & Plumbing employs six Journeyman Plumbers/Gasfitters and four apprentices. Many of our employees have been with us for more than 20 years. During our peak periods we employ in excess of 35 employees. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau and have been in good standing for over 25 years. As a member of the ACIA (Alberta Chapter Irrigation Association) and recognized contractor by the City of Calgary, our longstanding reputation in Edmonton insures quality products and above all superior workmanship backed by a real guarantee.
